2D topdown PC space shooter game from 90-93

I've been searching this old (probably around 1990-1993) DOS game for ages. It was a 2D topdown shooter where you controlled a spaceship. I don't think there were many moving enemies, instead you had to shoot mines, avoid collisions with them and progress through the game's maze-like levels. Two players could play cooperatively using a split screen mode (top/bottom).

Although I don't remember the game's name, I remember that the title screen showed the name in two rows of big letters, kind of like the "Space Quest" text in the following Space Quest III title screen:

It was probably a shareware or freeware game, not sure.
