Arcade racing game with Sonic toy hanging off the rear mirror

This has to be a Sega game, but can't recall the name...it was pretty generic in all regards, used spruces instead of ploys so would be pre Virtua Racing. The only memorable part is that there was a Sonic toy hanging from the rear view mirror while you raced.

The game is called Rad Mobile, also known as Gale Racer, it was ported to the Sega Saturn and featured even more Sonic toys (characters from the video game SegaSonic the Hedgehog), vaguely emulates in MAME too.
