Arcade beat\'em up where you play as punks/rockers (with spiky hair etc) who beat up their enemies with guitars. Double Dragon style, probably late eighties or so.

The only beat' em up what I can remember in which you beat your enemies with guitars is Motorhead, but it only was released for Amiga and Atari St.

If it was really an arcade try Konami's "Crime Fighters" and/or "Crime Fighters 2". I don't think you can use guitars as weapons but there are lots of punks/rockers. ;-)

had background music from the era too:madonna and a few others
